First-time login and license upload

Open the Reniway Edge web interface in your browser. For a local installation, use http://localhost. For an edge device, use the host name or IP address assigned during deployment.

When Reniway Edge starts for the first time, it needs a valid license before the configuration interface becomes available. After the license is accepted, the first user can register an account and log in.

You should have received your license file by email after purchasing Reniway Edge. If you cannot find the file, contact Reniver support to request a replacement.

Upload the license

If no valid license is installed yet, Reniway Edge shows the license upload screen.

Uploading a license

  1. Click Browse.
  2. Select the license file from your computer.
  3. Click Upload License.

If the license is valid, the application unlocks the full configuration interface. If the file is expired, invalid, or does not match the system, the screen shows Invalid License. Contact Reniver support if this happens.

Create the first user

After the license is validated, Reniway Edge shows the registration page if no normal user account exists yet. Register the first user with your email address and password.

The registration page also appears again if all normal users are deleted later. This allows a new first account to be created directly from the web interface.

Log in

After registering the first user, log in with the account you created. You can then continue with project setup, connector configuration, and user management.

To view the active license or upload a replacement license later, open Settings > License.
