Connectors

Connectors receive data from and send data to to industrial equipment and IoT sensors using various protocols. They are what connects Reniway with the real world.

Field connectors

Field connectors are used to communicate with industrial equipment and IoT sensors that are deployed in the field—eg. a CNC machine in a factory. They receive data—eg. a product counter, the current program, etc.—from these machines and can send data—eg. the next program, start/stop, etc.—back to them.

Enterprise connectors

Enterprise connectors are used to integrate data into enterprise systems like Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), cloud systems, or any other data platform.

Creating a new connector

You can create a new field/enterprise connector by pressing the big red button on the right side of each respective connectors tab.
