MTConnect
The MTConnect connector is a field connector for reading data from an MTConnect agent.
Connection settings

| Host Name | Hostname or IP address of the MTConnect agent. |
| Port | Port of the MTConnect agent. |
Adding properties
Use the property picker to browse the MTConnect device tree and select one or more DataItems.
For each selected item, Reniway creates an input property with:
- the MTConnect
DataItemId - an automatically resolved Reniway type
- input direction
Runtime behavior
When the connector starts, it connects to the MTConnect agent, reads the current observation values, and keeps properties updated from incoming MTConnect observation events.
If a selected DataItem is unavailable, the property is marked as errored.
Notes
- This connector is intended for input scenarios.
- Property creation is based on the MTConnect probe tree exposed by the agent.
