Getting Started
This section brings the Reniway Edge start-up flow together in one place: deployment, installation, first login, licensing, your first flow, and project management.
After installation and first login, start with Create your first flow to learn how to use the Flows page and add field connectors, data mappers, enterprise connectors, and other components.
Deployment & Network Setup
Run Reniway Edge on a virtual machine in your own infrastructure or on the Reniway Edge Gateway, and see how it fits between your IT and OT networks.
Evaluation VM
Request a Reniway Edge evaluation ISO with a 1-month trial license and install it on a virtual machine in your own hypervisor.

Default components in the Reniway infrastructure v2 stack and how to access them.
First-time login and initial setup
Complete the Initial setup wizard — license, Reniway Cloud registration, and the first user account — then log in.
Create your first flow
Connect a simulator, shape its values into a unified namespace payload with a data mapper, and publish it to the built-in MQTT broker.
Realtime Logging
The Logs button in the top-right header opens the realtime logging window. This is the fastest way to see what Reniway Edge is doing while you are configuring connectors, testing flows, or validating a deployment.
Saving and restoring your project
The Reniway system allows you to save the entire configuration as a project file (.rproj), which you can restore later if needed. This feature helps ensure that your setup can be easily backed up and recovered, preventing data loss in case of any system issues or changes.
