Reniway Cloud

The Reniway Cloud tab shows the cloud identity of the current Reniway Edge instance.

Reniway Cloud ID​

The page displays the assigned Reniway Cloud ID.

  • if the device is connected to Reniway Cloud, the ID is shown
  • if no cloud registration is available, the page shows Not connected

Use the copy button to copy the cloud ID to the clipboard.

What it is used for​

The cloud ID identifies the Reniway Edge instance in the Reniway Cloud environment. The backend keeps this registration and uses it for cloud-side communication such as heartbeat reporting.

In practice, this page is mainly used when you need to:

  • identify a specific edge instance
  • share the device ID with Reniver
  • verify that cloud registration exists
